Thank you so much, the music was absolutely beautiful. I loved being able to hear you playing while we were being whisked around for the photos.
Diolch yn fawr iawn!!
Cartref is lovely, really liked the Joe Hisaisha tracks – not many know him outside Japan (he is also a great pianist). Miyazaki visited South Wales whilst researching Kiki from which Changing Seasons is taken. (French harpist Cecile Corbel wrote music for Miyazaki’s film Arriety). Great spread of genres on Cartref – but no heavy metal… Camille and Kennerley Kitt have recorded a lovely Guns N Roses piece on a pair of Lyon and Healey Ebony electric harps (it’s on youtube).
Diolch o galon am noswaith fythgofiadwy yn y Buckley nos Iau diwethaf. Yr oedd aelodau y Gymdeithas wedi gwirioni hefo’r performiad. Cymru ar ei orau, yr oeddwn yn falch iawn o fod yn Gymraes. Gobeithio y cawn eich clywed eto cyn bo hir.
On behalf of the Maelor Music Society may I thank you and Annette for such a wonderful concert in Henley on Wednesday Evening (23.02.2011). The feedback has been fantastic already, and your performance helps societies like ours to grow and promote and makes it a two way exercise. We know you enjoyed yourselves in our company and hope you had a safe journey home.
Thank you so much for your lovely performance at our wedding. I only heard a snippet of your programme which I feel really added to the atmosphere. Our guests and my husband have commented on how calming and uplifting your music was. Thank you for contributing to out amazing day.
The Soloist for the Concert with Cantorion Glan Alun will be harpist Dylan Cernyw (Welsh for Cornwall) who, despite his youth – he is in his 20s – has established a repertoire ranging from baroque through classical to jazz, for which he is in great demand at home and abroad.
Dylan was absolutely wonderful, he is so talented, we couldn’t be happier! He played so beautifully and he very kindly learned several Elvis Songs for me on extremely short notice! (having sent him a tape Monday and the wedding was on the following Saturday!). He played them all brilliantly.
We’d like to thank you for making our special day so wonderful.
I’ve never heard a harp played with such skill. Once again thank you.
Thank you very much for playing at our wedding on Saturday. It was a fantastic day and everyone we spoke to really enjoyed listening to your music. Fortunately the wet weather didn’t dampen our spirits and your performance created the right ambience at the Church and at Mellington. Many thanks again
I’m so sorry I didn’t get chance to speak with you on Saturday. The whole day was a bit of a blur for me! However, I just want to say thank you as the music in the ceremony was beautiful. Lots of our guests have also commented on how lovely the music was so thank you.
All the very best.
